Why We Are Educating?

Vision Therapy, or neuro-rehabilitation, can be utilized in a surplus of situations when well-understood. Vision Therapy is based on the principles of neuroplasticity. Neuroplasticity allows the brain to adapt to both changes inflicted by damage as well as to novel experiences that are encountered on a day-to-day basis. The practice of Vision Therapy involves the fundamentals in perceptual and motor learning, with neuroplasticity being the basis for each. Through incorporating neural reprogramming and long-term potentiation, adaptive changes can be made to anyone’s life. Whether through school, sports, work, self-confidence, or regaining back autonomy, Vision Therapy can help you.

What is Developmental Optometry?

Developmental Optometry is a branch of Optometry that uses the principles of neuroplasticity to train, develop, and maximize performance of your visual skills. Developmental Optometrists search for effective solutions for oculomotor, visual-perceptual, or binocular dysfunctions that affect the efficiency of vision. Unfamiliar to most, learning disabilities such as ADHD or Dyslexia have signs and symptoms that may be caused by issues related to the visual process and not to the learning disability itself. Find out how Developmental Optometry can be integrated in the lives of your patients or students.
